Diversity awareness

UK Government Department
Creating Excellence through Diversity
This Diversity Programme was developed to underpin the changing culture within the organisation. There was a requirement for a widespread understanding and commitment to the issues of diversity and how they differ from Equal Opportunities in the organisation. These customised interactive workshops were divided into four main elements to allow a deep learning process to occur within the group. Trans4mation has now designed an interactive CD and Intranet site for all staff to help sustain the learning and behaviour shifts from this programme.

"Very good - a calm, open approach which encouraged us to be open about ourselves"

"Kept my attention and made me think about superficial and deep seated issues"

"Good to have role plays - gave something tangible to work with, and an idea of real situations that we might come across"

"Mixture of group work, presentation and lecture based delivery was very effective"

Sponsors comments
"Trans4mation went wider than their brief by picking up on issues raised by particular groups and circulating additional customised material after some workshops. They also provided generalised feedback on common themes to the policy unit and spent time with individual participants who requested further advice."
